Hu Anastasia, did you know that you're the only one that takes the time and gives answered back to your viewers. I have respect for that!🙏🏼 now said that, i love your vids and always looking forward to your new nail turtorial. I have been doing nails for over 30 years and Im still learning and practising. 32 years ago there was only acrylic and handfiles lol, no gel, no electric files etc etc only acrylic and sjabloon (nailsticker)🤭 now in this millennium with so many millenium nailtechs there's so much going on and there's so much new nailproducts in the nail world. I have one question, since i only do acrylic, what's the differents between hard and soft gel? When do you use what on nails. And how much do you charge for those beautiful nails. When are you coming to Amsterdam city in the Netherlands?😁i will give you a tour/sight seeing through Amsterdam city😎Bless You Anastasia keep doing the good work 💅🏼💋
@Nailcou5 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! Hard gels are for extensions mostly, soft gels for natural nail overlays. For one color infill I charge $80. I've been to Amsterdam couple times and actually it was my first destination for international nail competition back in 2007 😊 I would love to come again, as soon as I'll have some trip planned.

I love your tutorials always so informative! I'm a nail technician for approx. 6 years, and struggle mostly with time! How long would you say a regular refill like this should take? Do you have any tips and tricks on getting the service done faster. I'm a perfectionist, and this would take me around 2 hours with similar cuticule work, closer to combination cuticule work since I lift with bit and then cut with nippers. I would love to see a video where you include how long each step should take and what to do to save time. Thank you so much, and again, I love your work! With love from Canada 🇨🇦

Russian nails are always amazing, meanwhile in Scotland you can’t get smoothed nails, an apex or nail art (that’s more that 1 stone per accent nail) - I now do my own and may not be great but at least there is length, structure and nail art etc as I want it. I struggle with shaping and filing as my hands are bad from a disability.

Hi Natalie, how long does it take for you to do the whole process, from removal of old colour/product, mani, new gel application, colour and design? I have been doing nails for just over 2 yrs, and the whole process still takes me about 2.5 hours.
@Nailcou5 жыл бұрын
Julya Alter hello! This one took me 2 hours as there were no problems - no cracks / broken nails etc. but it depends. Sometimes it takes longer
@TLinhNLe5 жыл бұрын
Question for both... Who you charged the same price for infill+paint -design as normally priced or more consered time spent on 1customer was2-2.5hrs?
@julyaalter29305 жыл бұрын
Linh Le, I charge the same for refills, you still have to do full prep, remove colour and some product and reapply gel and design. Thant’s my take on it, let me know what your options is? Thx

@EmmaKumaSama5 жыл бұрын
Keep the natural nail helps your client grow healthy nail bed and hyponychium. Also help balance the artificial nail strength, decrease the chance of whole nail break off since the ahensive surface is bigger. And you can’t tell if there is a secret lifted spot hide underneath the nail edge if you fill from bottom especially when you use non transparent builder gel just like what you used in this video. If there is, it will cause artificial nail lift or moisture trap there which can cause nail mold and other nail disease. Nail technician should always encourage client’s nature nail growth by each appointment, that’s apart of our professional ethics. The correct way of refill is always fill down instead of fill up, in that way you get chance to clean the edge of the nail and reahensive if necessary. It takes extra time to do but so worth it.
@Nailcou5 жыл бұрын
I have a different opinion on that. Filing too deep and hurting hyponychium is definitely bad and shouldn't be done. When few clients made me keep their natural nail underneath - we ended up with product lifting in the middle and very untidy look. Also, if nails grow downwards - keeping the nail will make gel / acrylic nails also have this "growing downwards" look each time, which will get lower and lower with each infill. But thank you for your comment! I appreciate opinions with thoughtful explanations 😘
@EmmaKumaSama5 жыл бұрын
Nailcou I agree with you when nail grown downwards, but that’s a relatively rare case and mostly happens on index finger only, and does not require such a deep file. I did not experience any product lifting in the middle of nail case by encourage nail growth. Nail health is always what I consider most important.

@anh78073 жыл бұрын
I grew out my natural nail this way. Started with acrylics until my nails grew the length I like, then we went onto a hard gel after a few fills. Eventually, I will completely get rid of the fake nail tips and only have my real nail protected by builder gel. It works for those of us whose nails refuse to grow with out help.
