How to Hard Reset (Factory Reset) If Forgot Password on Galaxy A50s, A50, A40, A30, A20, A10, etc

I show you how to to do a hard reset (factory reset) on a Samsung Galaxy A50 but its the same for A10, A10e, A10s, A20, A20e, A20s, A30, A30s, A40, A50, and A50s. I show 2 ways to hard reset and the 2nd way is to hard reset and bypass the password or pin if you forgot it or its not working. Remember with a factory reset you are deleting all your personal data and once the reset is complete you will start off at the beginning setup as if you just bought the phone and took it out of the box. I know there is a lot of comments here and I may be repeating what others have said but it seems as if this process now requires one additional step - the phone needs to be connected via USB for it to work. I could not get it into Recovery Mode until I had the phone connected to my laptop via USB connected - worked first time after that. (This may be a requirement with Android 11). Thanks for the video - this was exactly my issue. Employee had left the company without confirming the PIN code on the A50.

You may have to plug in the charging cable/block while performing these steps for them to work. I had tried many many times without success, but once I began charging the phone and followed the procedures it worked. I have a Samsung A21s and followed the video for A50 - success!

Galaxy S24 Ultra locked while trying a file transfer, it would not even turn off without the PIN. Wasted a full day trying to get a factory reset. In the end gave up and put it to one side. Next day decided to have another go but transferred SIM over first and connected to computer. Factory reset first time. S10+ to S24 Ultra transfer successful. Thank you.

IT WORKED.!!! OMG IT WORKED. My step daughter for got the pattern to her Phone. It took about 6 tries before I got the option to factory set menu. The first 6 took me to a blue screen asking to download a custom OS. Canceled that and kept trying. Got the phone reset back into the previous Google account and she is now able to use her phone again.! We were about to just junk it and get a new one but thanks to this video we didn't have to.
