Literally saved my life! My phone was frozen and I did not know how to force restart it because I’m so used to how Apple usually hold the home button and the power button together and I did that and nothing wasn’t working so I was afraid that my phone was going to give another issue. Killa Nae are you sure you don’t have. The iPhone 8 I thought I had the 7 turned out I had the 8 but a prong was broke and my iPhone wouldn’t connect to iTunes so I had to get a new phone anyways

I have the same problem Chrissy B: "slide to power off" shows up, but if I hold the power/sleep button long enough then it will restart. I'm not sure though if this actually is a hard reset, because I have a problem with certain notifications and the problem persists. (in the past, doing a hard reset always solved the problem with notifications)
