Long shot since this is an old post but we have a KitKat 4.4 - locked ourselves out of it. and I can't seem to get the factory reset screen to come up no matter what combo we try with the power and volume buttons. Any help is very much appreciated.

i have tried to do this multiple times but the android or the recovery won’t show up. i have even tried doing it pressing the bottom and up volume button but the screen just stays black or it just turns back on.

I had similar symptom, but it wa sonly when I had power cable connected. But ocne I removed the power cable, and try this reset process, it did show the Recovery menu.

Hello, can anyone guide me how I can unlock the pattern design as the pattern design has been forgotten? My device detail: (HISENSE - SERO 8 Pro, Model # F5281, F5281AEGKFV150007, IC: 10880A-W9HPADP0006, FCC ID: W9HPADP0006, Barcode # 6 942147 427125) Also don't know the Google user ID and password? Please let me now how I can do the hard reset without the volume button as this particular device there is no volume buttons at outer side. Looking forward to the positive response for enabling me to resolve the issue.
