I never take more than half of anything that I find. like you pointed out other creatures like them to. Ir is also important to practice the same thing with other plants. when I find a Bed of wild asparagus I usually will leave 50% untouched so that they will regrow the next year. other people around here take every plant they can find. They totally decimate beds of plants leaving none for the future
