Just collected the seed heads from one plant that grew from a mix, they're tiny compared to the seed heads you're collecting here

Not all poppy varieties are edible! Please make sure you have the edible kind before consuming the seeds.

Hi David, I have loads of poppies that have bloomed. The plants and the pods are looking very healthy and I don't know if I should stop watering or to let them dry out. If I keep watering will the pods still dry out and turn brown ready for harvesting? I've no idea. Fred

A few questions. Is brown seeds okay cuz my Danish flag seeds are brown and not that classic black bluish. Also have you ever seen more than one pod come from a plant. I had every plant produce just one bulb but one of them kind of split into a v and I had two or three separate bulbs on top. Just thought I'd ask. Also how do you know when they're ready the seeds are mature enough to harvest? When the brown thing on top becomes crispy and flaky?

I'm so confused, when I do some research in fact red poppy is the national flower of England. It is in the same tree as poppy but doesn't contain drug making materials. So which kinds of poppy in this video. In my country Vietnam poppy is ban, not sure about red poppy but I think it's fine since it doesn't contain heroin maker components.

There are different varieties of poppies. Some are decorative and some are for consumption. Hope that helps some.
