Thank you for relating to personal experience. I certainly agree that yelling/raised voices is a no win situation. Sometimes when the site is busy and has unexpected staffing issues, they don't observe the cascade effect that one mistake can have.

In my experience it's often one or two things that makes a site "bad" and if you can remedy them you can turn a site from bad to good. That should be the goal. Granted, it often comes with challenges.

I say that there is no such things as a bad date. Everything is a learning experience. Thought it was fun to tie it into clinical research. Good luck with the interview!

Hello! I have a phone screen coming up for a CRA position and your videos have been super helpful. So thank you!! I do not have direct experience in clinical research but I do have a Masters in Regulatory Affairs with a clinical trial concentration and have worked as a QA for a pharma company. Do you think I can leverage that to get into CRA roles? Or will I need real-world experience to get in? I love the clinical research field and can't wait to get into it.

Many years ago I would have told you that you have no shot without clinical research experience; however, currently lots of places seem to be taking a chance on less experienced people. While my advice would be to take on a CRC or CTA position for a year, you can try for CRA and see if anyone is willing to hire you.

hi Mario, Could you explain the difference between 1)CTA & FDF 2) CDA & Data Privacy Note 3) FDA Form 1572 & CTA & FDF
@MarioDeSouza
@MarioDeSouza Жыл бұрын
They are all very different - CTA is the clinical trial agreement between the site/CRO/sponsor, FDF is the Financial Disclosure Form for PIs/Sub-Is to show any financial conflicts of interest, CDA is the Confidentiality Disclosure Agreement saying you won't disclose information, Data Privacy Note shows how data privacy is maintained and Form 1572 is the investigator agreement.
