How do you heal on self when you have party member targeted without needing to hold button to untarget the party member you have selected which takes time??

Doesn't work like that. However, I never have to hold anything, just tap B/O and it should unselect with ease.

@@poppinoftenwithlofton6036 No, you have to hold circle to unselect player, if you just tap circle it unselect boss/monster

Yeah with Bow though it’s worse okay so as a bow player the only way I can heal others outside of using flash wave is to have friendly target selected but even if I have the auto use on self selected I still can’t heal myself unless I uncheck the friendly target thing but then I can only heal others with flash wave do you know a work around for this ? Be much appreciated because I feel like either I’m missing something or I’m glitching out or something.

Yes, unselecting is the way to heal. I do wish you can select yourself like in FF14 and heal yourself that way. It's not too bad once you get used to it though. If you press O/B it should unselect the target for you. If you have the tanks name moved next to yours then it'll be really easy to switch back to them. If it doesn't unselect the target, going to your name is a way you can unselect the target as well.
