How to Hear the Holy Spirit's Voice

Recently, the Holy Spirit kept telling me the name if a book in the bible. Yesterday He told me the lyrics to a song that I never knew. I looked it up and all I want to hear us that song. I prayed for the desires of God and now I have this appetite for this amazing worship song. I know that the hunger is from the Holy Spirit. Today I keep hearing a word since I walked pass a familiar person and the word keeps pooping in my mind....I never had heard this word before. It is related to Christianity. Thanks for this video. @@juliemilton9029 Holy Spirit is not an audible voice. It's an inner wisdom that is beyond your own human understanding. That divine wisdom makes sense out of nonsense, order out of disorder. Everything adds up & lines up. And you know the wisdom came from God bc we are fallen beings prone to deception just like Adam & Eve. We're carbon copies. The greatest deception of all is that we can be our own gods & live for our own desires & there is no judgement/penalty of death (separation from God = Hell). It's baked into our subconsciousness & we're not even aware that we're perpetuating the Rebellion against our Creator which was started by Lucifer. The Holy Spirit is Wisdom & Truth, not Deception & Lies. The more you hunger & thirst for God's Righteousness, the more you will be blessed with God's Spirit awakening in you. Search the Bible. I need it back... The feeling listening to that voice was so amazing I could never live imagining It's not going to speak to me again. I was sure it was God himself, thats how amazing it made me feel. I remember when I was more in-tune with it, I used to wake up hours before everyone in my house 4-5am and simply clear my mind and breath, enjoy the quiet house. While praying and meditating I don't remember ever hearing it really. It was throughout the day on important situations, not necessarily when I wanted to. It warned me and it calmed me in the most peacefully, loving and powerful way. I know you heard it too because of the way you describe the voice. One more thing! The last time I heard it was in a dream. Never did I dream with this voice before and I did two years ago and never have I heard it again. It told me "I will take everything and give you so much more" I was sad and asked "everything?!" It replied "I will give you so much more" I lost my business a few weeks later and my financial situation haven't been so great after having financial security for many years. I believe that's what it was referring too... I want to be able to listen to it again, it always gave me peace until that day. It didn't sound angry. It sounded like when I tell my kids I'm doing something for their own good even though they are sad about it.

The Holy spirit is not a it!!! But a person, yes He is a Spirit, but He has feelings & we often grieve Him. Because we neglect to pause in our day or lives, to communicate & listen to His leading. He is part of the Trinity & i love Him so very much.....Thank u Father God

I have been doing this and God has been responsive. It does take full commitment. Until I truly put God first I never experienced anything like this. I know we cannot always expect others to understand but it is such a blessing to hear from GOD the Father. I always look to the scripture for confirmation. I know we are to test the spirits. Mine when I was in my lounge room. I stopped going to church for about 3 months. Currently have not found where to meet, even after I tried going to a few church congregations.... "The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." Amen brother.... This is so true! I experienced this long before I watched this video. I was praying searching for truth and who was I and my purpose of being here, with being calm, patient, and going deep within I experienced this. I did take some work but it was worth it. I was told by the holy spirit it write everything down and it made my answers to questions Ive had very clear. So then I asked for conformation and got it!! This was amazing!! It was also told to me that many will not agree or understand.

That was my experience, what you just wrote :-). I was on my porch and had not been to church for a few years. It was after the fact , I wanted to go back. Maybe it depends on the church one goes to, or simply in that we are all different and for when God knows our mind is right. I find the Lord speaks to me during the day when im going thru my daily routine, like when im driving to work or taking a shower He will speak loud and clear. I do wait on Him but not nearly enough. I will wait more often and for longer periods. But God is speaking to you all the time thru out the day. I think waiting on Him is honoring Him and communing with Him even if you dont hear HIs voice at that time.

Been walking with the tiny whisper of the Holy Spirit ever since he first spoke to me when I was seven years old. I also agree that you can only truly understand THE Truth by being taught by the Holy Spirit. However, I do believe that the Holy Spirit uses the Bible as a tool to teach as He uses our lives, creation, etc. When you read the Bible being taught by the Holy Spirit you learn far beyond what the words are on the page ... because it is really the Holy Spirit teaching you.

I do actively listen alot, but what I found is that God speaks to me alot when im going thru my normal daily routine. like when in driving or taking a shower. I have had similar struggles in my life. I feel the same way you do when I sin and I have had all the same questions "am I truly saved" etc...that you experience. When we accept Christ....we also accept a spiritual battle that many times we are not prepared for. I certainly wasn't! Just know that these feelings and thoughts are from the enemy and are LIES!! You can feel Jesus in spirit form through prayer ask anyone with the spirit! you dont need a book or anything to feel the Holy Spirit people will make excuses for the scriptures always when in reality all they ever needed was to pray to Jesus and ask for the Holy Spirit to guide and teach them always spiritually growing knowing Jesus, it seems like all people want now a days is to pick at others, when i am just going to keep speaking the Truth no matter what! You are totally forgiven as if all that you did never existed - this is how God loves us. He desires to come and fill you ... and that means you will know and feel His righteous love as your own. Pay attention to your life, to the promptings of your mind to act and live in righteous love as He leads you for He is with you. Ask Him to show you His love, to make your desires His, to be able to trust Him above all else. His voice is gentle as a whisper, it a prompting in our spirit ..listen.

I believe everyone who posts here are genuinely seeking the Lord and not merely to cause controversy.The Lord gave a command to preach and teach His word. We cannot preach or teach God's word without God's word because just as the Holy Spirit speaks to us in thoughts and impressions, the devil also speaks to us the same way so if we don't know the word of God, then we cannot distinguish the Holy Spirit's voice from that of Satan,that is why our Savior quoted scriptures to refute the devil.

I have questions. Back when they where putting the Bible together they had a consul that voted on which text to include in the Bible... so since that they did not include all of the text that orginally was written is the todays Bible really the full truth? What would you say to the idea that younger texts could also speak the word of God... like the books by Neale D Walsh? I really intersted of hearing your opinion on this. One way is when you ask God a question, and when God answers you God will bring back your prayer to mind as a sign that He is answering your question. Sometime you leave a message on God's voicemail, and in time God will answer you back. When? When you're there... Repeat until you go live with God.

especially when you consider the many prophecies / false prophecies on u-tube nowadays - if it doesn't line up with scripture.... we need the Holy Spirit to interpret the scriptures and you are correct, there are errors even in the KJV, if in doubt I always go back to the original Hebrew / Aramaic / Greek, for example the rapture trumpet isn't a trumpet it's a Shofar or rams horn. God speaks to us in His word and we speak to Him by prayer, although if we are born again / filled with the Holy Spirit we should be able to communicate continuously at some level

You do not have to be in church, and chances are that is not where you will be when you Know it has been received and brought forth into your conscious. It can happen in your living room.
