How to: Heli Tack. Windsurf tuition

Heli Tack is the third turn that you should learn after you've learned the Tack and the Jibe. By learning this maneuver you will get to know a new position called «backwind» and master your skills of catching the wind from another side of the sail. Windsurfing tutorial.

I find I can’t get the nose through the wind. Every time I pull in the rear hand then slice the sail forward and the board starts moving back to the same tax I was on :(

Push the board that extra bit through the wind with your feet. The further through the wind you go the easier it will be.
