People don't make a pitty party about hurt and pain and I was there I was a caretaker of a close family member who had cancer. One time she asked me for something fun and I was in this booth that sells magazines and newspapers and coffee and I was lost so I asked a lady for something fun and I got a small thingy filled with jokes. But I forgot to take care of me.

Actually, this clip isn't very good.. It seems to give a mixed message, and the result seems negative. Abraham should have said "Visualize the well being of your mother from your inner being", and just left it at that..
@josephsf2452 Жыл бұрын
the problem with that is, you are your Inner-Being, and when you're not blending with it, you don't feel so good. No mixed messages in this video.

There's need to be a lot of research in caretaking and activism labor... These are hard physically/emotionally and yet tons of personas do it in such a lovely that I wish I could do that. And when you are in that position, sometimes it seems like you have to surrender...

My religion asks me to take care of my parents. No matter how hard it is I am obligated to cope with that situation. Now I can see why people feel off leaving their loved ones in special care facilities because deep down they know subconsciously it is wrong. Seeking pleasure and avoiding pain is a modern day man made idea that doesn't go well with our true nature. When our diapers needed to be changed 40 times a day, when we needed to be fed every 2 hours around the clock, when we threw unreasonable toddler tantrums, our parents were there and they did their best. They didn't leave us in a nursing home until we are fully functioning adults. When it's our turn to do the same there is always a story about stupid oxygen masks. Ok. Let's bring this conversation under the topic of human comfort. Because all these things could be discussed under anything but love.

so they gave birth to us to get us to watch them suffer and die ?
@ConsciousEvolution135 ай бұрын
Not all parents took great care of their kids. I agree they did the best they could but trust me when I tell you many of us were abused as children. My obligating, priority and learning lesson in all of this is to take care of yourself first. If you are suffering along with them, you can give no true assistance. If you were rock climbing and had two friends with you - one was weak and depressed, the other strong and happy who would you choose to save you? I would the latter as most people would if they valued their life. Regardless of your parents live with you or not, take care of your happiness. It’s the best thing you can offer them!

Abraham Hicks isn't as helpful as she thinks shes being
@josephsf2452 Жыл бұрын
that's because you face reality and offer most of your thoughts in response to what you're observing, Abraham teaches never face reality, unless it's pleasing to you.

She sounds cold and detached,fast talking, lacking any heart,warmth or compassion..She could not relate at all to this woman empathically ,who was suffering true empathy for her mother, who was in deep pain.Its so ironic that someone who is preaching all about love could put out videos so devoid of it.

nothing cold or detached about Esther Hicks, you just may not be too familiar with Infinite Intelligence perspective, that knows attention to anything, brings more of it.

Abraham isn’t preaching. People who go to see Abraham know she is there to help. Sometimes it’s difficult to create change in our thoughts. Please don’t condemn until you’ve been to one of her events. Wishing you all the best.
