When this beautiful woman said 1:36 "you can't expect it to look like a scalp, it's not a scalp" I had a really humbling moment. It literally takes me hours to get ready because I have to look absolutely perfect. it's actually all really delusional. I have been racking my brain as to why I can't get the lace front perfect it's always flawed and I get mad at myself because I'm naturally talented with my hands and the fact that I haven't mastered it was really bothering me. But when she said that I realized I'll waste a lot of my life chasing perfection if I don't change. I know this is only a hair tutorial but I think I was supposed to hear those words from you Queen. Bless you and thank you for your content 🙏🏾

WOW. It’s like you literally jumped into my brain. Thank you for letting me know it’s okay not to be perfect all the time. ❤

You literally took the words out of my mouth. I’ve never seen any of her other videos. I just happened to click on it today and it was the exact thing I needed to hear. I’ve been spending so much money and so much time trying to get it perfect and believing into all the hype of being able to get it perfect but the truth is you can’t, it’s not my own hair. I appreciate your comment and this video so much. This is what I needed to hear. I’ve been so hard on myself for having to face reality of needing to wear wigs, but it’s been just as hard feeling like I’m the only person that can’t figure out how to make it look natural and beating myself up over it. Sorry for writing a novel but I I just wanted to say thank you.
@jynclr6 ай бұрын
I'm new to lace wigs and installs. When Ms. Precious Marie said that let me just say that it was a RELIEF to hear that! Now I know that I don't have to be absolutely perfect and what it is I do do to help hide the lace will be good enough. It's helped me to relax now and have fun with hair. (I have female hair loss so I need to buy my hair because apparently I can't grow my own. LOL)

You nailed it so hard with this comment! I’ve been almost in tears because like you said I was blaming myself because I’ve almost always been able to make something out of nothing . Thank you for this comment and thank you to the this video I really really hope it gets to someone who needs it so they can take a deep breath and try to find the joy in the creativity of this craft again because it is an art form in my opinion and some of you women are amazing at it!! . ❤❤

I’ve never seen any of your other videos and I’ve never written a comment to any video on YT before, but I just happen to click on this today and you’ve really made it impact for what you said and the tutorial itself is so helpful. Having to wear wigs is new to me and it’s been really hard trying to figure it out ways to make it look natural and getting so frustrated and angry that I can’t get it right and making it that much more painful that my health issues have caused so much hair loss making me have to turn to wearing wigs in the first place. This whole transition has been difficult but this tutorial has been incredibly helpful. Thank you for your time and honesty. I wish all these other influencers would stop pretending that you can make it look like it’s 100% your own hair. Because people like me who is new to wigs and desperate to try to look like myself again believe it and can’t figure Out why I cant make it look natural too. It makes you really beat yourself up in an already difficult and self defeating situation. I’m going to subscribe to your channel. Sorry for writing you a long novel. THANK YOU for the honesty!!! I’ve been spending $$$$ on wigs and experimental things and getting so frustrated, staying up into the morning hours driving myself crazy trying to get it better then it’s going to get. A big part of that issue is that the people making the videos are making it seem unrealistic and I’m am assuming it’s because they get kick backs from the companies. I plan to bleach my knots over winter break, but for now I just use a light eyeshadow that somewhat lightens the lace. It works for the time being. I don't have concealer and don't plan to buy one in the future so I just use my powder. I put a bunch of it in the part I'm currently working with, and near the front all the way across. It's not perfect and it's not meant to be, but it's just a little something to get by.

Thank you so much. I’ve learned a lot. Being a “ woman of a particular age” I’m new to all these great techniques of making a wig more natural. You’re the best! Thanks again & I will definitely be tuning in for more tutorials from you!🤗

I have bought so many wigs but when I put them on it's just so obvious that they are wigs and I cannot get a natural look not even close to Natural. the wig Side by or cheap like $40 and there's always too much hair. I wish I knew a way to thin out the hair to make it look more natural and lay in a relax way without making me look like a giant bubble head. I'm Caucasian and I've tried every different kind of wig I currently have a short curly wig that I just love but it just does not look right on me. And wig caps absolutely will not stay on my head because the back rolls up because the back of my head is flat and it doesn't give the wig cap anything to fit over if that makes any sense. I would love to see it tutorial on cutting or thinning wigs to make them look more natural. But I loved your video and loved the way you fixed the problem and I think you look just beautiful in that wig and it looks very natural to me

Some places where you buy wigs have stylist to make the wigs look more natural. I was thinking about doing that.

With regards to the wig caps not staying on, if you are not bald you should try a wig grip. They are amazing and keep your wig firmly in place without even needing combs.

if you get a silk base you don't have to worry about the griddy look. This is too much work... but it's a good idea
