My man thou'rt the lord and the savior, i have been searching for literal fucking ages for a working implementation of the concept. It was clear that i needed to solve a quadratic equation for this, but my brain was too smooth to figure it out myself. I found one that kinda worked and then kinda didnt anymore and then finally i find yours, i am prepared for half an hour of debugging, but instead i copy paste it and it just straight up works. Whats best i actually understand the code because you bothered to format it like an actual quadratic function and not like a code snippet from the minimalist hellhole called stackoverflow where you are expected to read and understand code like you're the fucking compiler.
