Hi John! Great video. I still do that punchy, both arms straight release drill from your book I got about a million years ago. And yes, I shift my weight to the left as you do here. If I don't keep my arms straight after impact I don't seem to hit the ball as well

I forgot to mention John, I went to see Dr Scott Lynn and he said I was right leg dominant, and your video just showed me how to get to my left side thank you

Great sequencing, especially on the last swing! when you mentioned not pulling the arms too quick would you recommend closing up the face a little while shifting into the left side, whenever i do that with my woods i hit a beautiful cut but for my shorter clubs i feel like i am stuck and late with the club

thanks John for this great video. I need a feel/trigger to tell me I am on plane from the top of swing down to impact. slighter over the plane I tend to hit a slight fade, slightly lower in plane I get a nice baby draw with good ball runout. I am 76 and need all the distance I can gets draw is what I strive for. thanks John

You may want to check out my back up and behind video! That will solve the problem.

It impresses me - while “you” may move forward, your head remains essentially unmoved until After impact.

I have a definite lean, but not a huge one!

no matter what instruction video i look at - and i have looked at a lot over the last 15 years - i maybe have solid contact about once in about 20 balls at the range - and for the life of me cant compress a golf ball - i have been playing about 25 years with no real improvement - for 1 time or 2 - i think my compressing the ball improves - but alas - i still end up searching for something that works consistently - i feel like a butterfly always flitting from one method to another

Be sure to practice with feedback and stick with something until you learn it!
