Yeah I think I covered your confusion in my comment on your last video. The VERY first time you acquire an armament, the non star’d first hone you get can be anything from green to gold. But this would be acquiring the armament from something like the tracking event, or combining fragments into a full armament piece. After you’ve combined the armament and uncombine it through reset, it will always be green. HOWEVER, when you are combining armaments, the other slots CAN come out as Blue through Gold in quality for hone rolls; with this method the only hone slots to primarily target is your 1* hone slot, 3* hone slot, and if you have enough copies 5* hone slot. So when I was doing it with my gathering armaments, I would target a gathering green in 1st slot, aim for a blue or better in 2nd slot, 3rd and 4th slot. If I got a purple or gold during the process in 2nd 3rd or 4th slot pertaining to gathering, I would just stop and hone the other slots to blue/purple or better gathering hones as well using the standard honing fragments. @@treborams9767 Yes, it works on Purple or Gold Armaments. On purple armaments it gives a free hone up to Purple quality in the 1*, 3* and 5* slots. Gold armaments will give up to a free Gold quality hone in the same slots. (Armor, Weapon, or Devices)
