Beautiful. I love how you keep reminding us, “Not to worry “ , when we do not have what we need. Afternoon tea is more about getting together and enjoying each other. The rest is just icing on the cake.

When I was a little girl I would have tea parties with my Grandmother, not as elegant as your beautiful table setting, but still such fun. I felt very grown up. Our sandwiches were goats cheese on rye bread, in honor of my Grandmas Norwegian upbringing, and quite often coconut macaroons. Stay safe and well.

Absolutely fantastic!!! I love tea time! When I was young my mother make me scones with cloted cheese and home made jam, wow so good, never nowhere I've tasted scones like that !!! And little sandwichs , like tuna and cream cheese and pickles or with fresh dill , or red and sweet bell pepper paste with cream cheese and sour cream, its a mix, and some with dry tomatoes paste , with pieces of bacon and mozzarella and fresh basil, one of my favourite, she also made simple butter and cucomber ones, Oh ! and one that is strange but yummy is crackers with some liver pate with jam on it and chop green olive on top ...She make some with sardines and cream cheese with hot sauce ( those for older one !!) One that she always make me is cream cheese with cranberry sauce(home made) with pistachio....yum yum !!! have plenty others that she used to make, not all together but she usely made 4 or 5 kind of sandwiches with scones( she made scones with Erl grey or green or black tea with raisins inside, so good) and clothed cheese and jam, always !!! Also with little Sandwiches and mini cakes and tiny pastries. It was different each time but the scones and clothed cheese , always there !!!🤗

Howdy, great video. I have a recipe that came from a friend of mine in London, Laela Miller, who I meet in Germany when my ex-husband was stationed there. Very proper lady her husband was stationed in Germany also. We lived in the same stairwell, of post housing. We would have tea once a month to get to know our neighbors, military wives are very sociable, a lot of our husbands were out in the field. Cannot tell you what they were doing (secret stuff). here is how she made her sandwiches. 2 cucumbers thinly sliced, 1 package of Good seasonings Italian seasoning packets, 1 container of Philadelphia cream cheese( I like the one with chives) Rye bread or pumpernickel, white. 1 plastic container to put seasoning packet with cut cucumbers, shake the container to evenly distribute the seasoning and cucumbers. Let set in frig about 1/2 of an hour, you want these chilled. Put cream cheese on one half of bread then cucumbers on other half. Slice off the crust of bread if you wish, then 1/4 cut them. These are not for everyone but if you do like them they can be addictive. These are so good you cannot eat just one. They will become soggy if you leave them out. I used to use these sandwiches with my daughter when she was small for our tea time with her dolls, no complaints. I have not thought of that in years, Thank you for the memory. Stay safe and God bless you and family. Stay strong, it is a hard time for all, but it could be a lot worse. Love Nancy

Hi there, Ms. Nancy! 😘 I read your wonderful message with great interest. I love learning bits about you and your life and I so appreciate you sharing your special memories with me. It means a lot.🌹 I pinned your message to the top of the comments section so others can see your cucumber sandwich recipe. I LOVE cucumber sandwiches, especially when the weather gets hot, so I took a screen shot of the recipe you shared and I’m going to give it a try. It sounds absolutely delightful! Thank you.🙏🏼 I pray you are well and feeling good. You are so right about these times we are in. They are challenging, but it could absolutely be worse. (Thank you, Lord, for all things!) Happy Easter to you and yours. Take care, Ms. Nancy! Xoxo!💕

Since we have all been home lately, I have been searching for ornate and special tea cups and saucers. To my surprise, I found about six cup and saucer designs which I thought were stunning, all made n England of coarse. They have arrived from various sources now and I have a start now to a lovely collection of various patterns. Therefore, I suggested to my best girlfriends, we have a tea at my house when we are able to have a little more social distance. This video uploaded at the perfect time. I did not know there was a difference in Afternoon and High Tea. Justina, thank you so much for these wonderful ideas. I could practically taste the yummy food. Of coarse, cream cheese makes everything better and I actually keep cream cheese at all times. You may like this, so I will share. Along with a boiled egg, I will pop an English muffin in the the toaster, then spread the “whipped spreadable” Philadelphia Cream Cheese on the muffin. It’s then topped with Orange Marmalade. This is a lovely combination with my boiled egg and Vanilla Chai Tea in the morning or for a late afternoon treat. In addition, would you mind sharing the lovely china pattern with the butterflies. I especially adore the plate with the pale blue band and the butterfly placed in the center. Your Afternoon Tea Table was so lovely. Love the antique embroidered butterflies along with the china. So lovely. Once again, you outdid yourself. Your devoted follower from Dallas. Sincere Best Wishes, Lisa

Ohhh goody! I’ve been waiting for this video and, as always, you did not disappoint. This is so beautiful and feminine. I would love to see a video on high tea in the future. I just love hosting a tea for my lady friends. And I just love those Easter cards you shared on IG regarding Holy Week. What a treasure to cherish for years to come. They are all sold out 😞. Unfortunately, we cannot worship traditionally on what I believe to be the holiest time of the Christian calendar, but we can still rejoice in our risen Savior who forever lives in our hearts. Have a blessed Easter and stay well. 🥰

Yes, those cards were such an unexpected and beautiful surprise. I hope she makes more available because I would love to give them away as gifts to my godchildren next year. I feel so sad that we all cannot worship traditionally In church this Easter but as you said, Christ’s glorious Resurrection will live forever in our hearts. Happy Easter to you and yours, dear Friend!🌿🌷🙏🏼🌷🌿

Miss Justina Marie, I thank you for this lovely video. I am new to your channel. Wanted to share with you something I just learned from Rain Country channel which I researched and found to be true: citric acid is now being made with black mold. They spray glucose on the mold and the result is citric acid. I have gotten rid of all organic shampoos, soaps, and canned goods with citric acid and have felt better almost immediately. If you or your viewers are sensitive to black mold, then please look into this. I will be watching your channel videos.
