Thank you! Your videos are so helpful for trying to get achievements! Kind of unrelated but I don’t know where to ask, anyone know if there is a way to call yearlings/subordinates off a hunt in young hunters? They’re blocking my pups of the year from getting bites in.

I'm so glad you're finding my videos helpful! Unfortunately I think the "woof" only works on the pups of the year. I've done that quest a few times now and from what I've noticed, during the start of the quest they gain exp from just witnessing the hunt and it's pretty normal for them to not get any bites in; they grow a lot bolder about it around >80%. I'm considering eventually making a video on this once I get more data, but so far it seems like it doesn't matter too much which pups bite the prey, sometimes ALL of them get 1% exp per "tick" of damage they do. Type of prey doesn't seem to change that (even catching rabbits can give 1%). Player, subordinate and yearling prey damage ticks also occasionally give pups ~1% as well, but it seems more up to chance, and more likely at the start & when it's the player wolf. I got "Early Graduation" by just hunting way more than needed per day on easy & sleeping less frequently. What HAS been confirmed by the text in the game is that rallying before a hunt makes pups more focused, and I THINK that means they are more likely to participate.

Darn about the woofing but thank you nonetheless! I’ll make sure to try the rallying thing :D

Thanks, this was very helpful! Unrelated question, by the way: If I make an account on WolfQuest after I’ve already made wolves and games with them, will the games and wolves I’ve created before still exist even after I make an account? (Basically, I don’t have one currently) it would be really helpful if you have an answer for this! ^^

@@DuneEditzWCUE I am pretty sure yes they will be fine, but would recommend making a copy of your save folder first just to be safe

Alr thanks! I’m kinda dumb so I don’t know how to make a copy of anything- sorry if I’m being annoying by asking this, but could you explain to me how to make a copy? I hardly know how I even access any folders I have-

@@DuneEditzWCUE I have to get to something right now but I'll give you a step-by-step when I get back

Alright, thank you! That would be very helpful! But just a note: I probably won’t respond until a few hours later because it’s late for me. And I play on Mac, so if you play WQ on a pc, windows computer, etc, it’ll probably be different for me. But thank you again!

@@DuneEditzWCUE I went ahead and tried to type up instructions both ways, I don't have a mac but I'm pretty sure after the first step it's all the same. Windows: Documents/My Games/Wolf Quest Anniversary/User Files Open File Explorer from the taskbar or right-click on the Start menu, choose File Explorer then select Documents > My Games > Wolf Quest Anniversary > User Files Mac: [YourUserDirectory]/Wolf Quest Anniversary/User Files Use the keyboard shortcut: Open Finder and use the keyboard shortcut Command-Shift-H or you can get there from the "GO" menu (iirc, you can also use the searchbar at the top right on macs) Once you find the "User Files" folder, right click and copy it and paste somewhere else like your desktop. I'd recommend renaming it to "WolfQuest Backup" so you can easily identify it later. If you need to restore a backup, simply copy the "WolfQuest backup" folder and paste it back where you found the original. Rename it to "User Files" and click "yes" when it asks if you want to replace the file.
