I love your channel! I have a quick question you may be able to help me with. I’m missing some cyp450 enzymes and can’t metabolize THC into 11 Hydroxy THC. I do however have some 11 Hydroxy D8 THC at 87%. My question is, if I ingested the 11 hudroxy would I feel the effects? If so would I be able to metabolize it to eliminate it from my blood stream or would I stay high? I’ve been wanting to try it but I’ve found no research on it and I’m scared I’ll be high for a month or indefinitely.

Ok gonna take a swing at explaining this in a comment: When the slab comes out due to being under vacuum it wants to immediately strip free radicals. well, the most famous free radical is oxygen...which we know lends an unwanted color to our slab. So...what we can do is use a noble gas in its place. The slab will essentially "latch" on to that noble gas (N2) and that gas will "occupy" the space that would normally be filled with oxygen. This helps prevent that color change. I like to add anywhere from 5-8PSI of nitrogen depending on how my slab is behaving in the collection pot as every slab can be a bit different. The ability to ocularly analyze this will come with the experience of seeing thousands of slabs come and go from your machine.

Awesome video! I was wondering how companies were putting thca into vapes without it breaking down into d9 etc. I recently tried a "Not Your Bakery" disposable that was 90% thca. There was no CBC in the labs but there were trace amounts of thcv, cbca, and d8 (all under 1%). Dr. Ganja has "Diamond Distillate" as well, with either HTE or Cannabis Terps. Any thoughts on either of those brands?

I have not tried any of those brands. It would be hard for me to attest to their compatibility.

at 110c wouldn't the THCA decarb to just D9?

No, you just melt it. No more than 7 mins it takes. Proper decarboxylation takes place at 130C.

Wait... doesn't it just resolidify without decarboxylation? I feel like i've tried this and it just crystalized in the cart, it was totally unvapable... the only way I've ever been able to do this is by fully decarbing the diamonds... very confused 😕 How does just melting THCA make it flow? In my experience, you get a nice budder from heating it, but it's still a solid...... tried it several times. Do you just cut with extra terp sauce until it's liquid or what? I don't see how that's possible when THCA is known to be a solid. Am I wrong on that? How does it not just resolidify?

Ok CBC... I should finish the video... still don't understand how that works, but I'll try it. Apparently I've been doing it wrong... or differently I guess. Is it totally inefficient and not worth it to just decarb your diamonds at that point? More THC overall...

@@GregMartinettiyou have not been doing it wrong. Fully decarbing thca is the best way to enjoy liquid diamonds. Introducing hte should be the only way thca is staying in your vapes. Melting thca will work also, but now your device has to work accordingly to burn thca properly.
