I really appreciate the PowerPoint slides, showing the set up on where you put the stand, with respect to wind direction and where the coyotes will be coming from. I am interested in bow hunting coyotes. I am 64 years old and like you I didn’t grow up in a hunting family didn’t have friends at hunt, etc.. So I am teaching myself as best I can. Other KZbin videos mentioned that the coyotes circled down wind, but I wasn’t clear on how to deal with that in terms of where the stand is going to be, where the call will be, etc. Your PowerPoint slides set it all set it out all very clearly and we’re very helpful. Even though you have been hunting cows, a relatively short time, I find your videos more useful and helpful to me than those made by “expert” hunters, because the experts don’t explain these important elements of the hunt in a clear fashion. They might mention it, but they don’t show any PowerPoint slides, or they assume the audience is composed of already experienced hunters. You on the other hand, know what a beginner who is trying to teach himself how to hunt without the benefit of having hunters in his background or family or circle of friends, needs to learn. Thanks again. I’ll let you know how my bow hunting coyote adventures go.

I get out in the area and do a lot of scouting. Find tracks, signs etc. to confirm they’re in the area. Nothing beats boots on the ground.
