I use to go to farms along hwy 10 in Ark. and ask permission to fish in their lakes and cattle ponds and promise to close all gates i opened, don't make a mess of the property, be mindful of all stock on the land and share 50/50 everything i catch - now most of those farms are gone and housing and industry and malls have taken over on about 60% of the land and the rest wont let strangers on their land because of bad people messing up the land or abusing the land

I hope that the landowner has a waiver or some kind of written protection against the idiot that gets hurt on the property and wants to sue. Insurance cost would negate any "profit" gained from opening the land up to these activities.
