Those candle sticks are stunning! The perfect addition to my uranium glass collection. If these were Vaseline glass, they would be a canary yellow color under normal light. Petroleum jelly used to be this same color. That is why the Victorians gave that color of glass the name “Vaseline.” Over the years, the terms started being used interchangeably since both types contain uranium oxide. Just remember that Vaseline glass is yellow, uranium glass is green, and both will glow under black light. Love seeing what treasures you bring in each week.

What do these look like when they are not under UV?
