Thanks to your video I realised yesterday that a copse I've always thought was all young oak trees is in fact ash (none too healthy ones at that)... and from knowing that and having a good hunt around i found my first ever morel mushrooms!! Made my day!!

@@squoocher Great stuff, I've never seen a Morel yet. The trees might have Ash Dieback disease. Have a look into it. I'm glad you loved the video - I appreciate that. If you want you want to know more about trees around you, check out the free course I've created.

@@WoodlandClassroom I all do. Thanks. And yes you’re right ash die back is an issue here. But what puzzles me is I’ve heard the morels fruit when their host tree is dying so they can spread their spores in anticipation of their tree snuffing it. But why aren’t they sending out spores in regular years? Mystery. Sorry I won’t take up any more of your time. I’m sure there’s an easy answer
