Many scientists, especially in developing countries, have fallen victim to predatory journals. Often, predatory journals protect themselves from being labeled as fraudulent journals and shield themselves from credible indexing or classification by various respectable organizations and governing bodies, facilitating their continued ability to prey on the science world. In this informative video, I will tell you the definition and classic traits of predatory journals. I will also tell you the ways through which you can identify these predatory journals and avoid being spammed for your research work.
