Great explanation! Very useful trick to combine money received and spent. I have learn a lot from you. Thank you so much! I start to use Xero last Month and got problems when first upload bank statements. The date of the bank statements including time. I can’t remove the time from the date. Finally, I manually removed it and uploaded successfully. However, the invoice nr which I fill in column ‘reference’ not show up. Xero can’t auto find and match with us. So, could you please let me know 1. How to remove the time from the date. 2. How can I add back the inv nr on the statement lines. I already upload 170 records on it. Thanks for your help in advance.

It depends which bank you download from, the formats are all different. Maybe try the OFX format if that is available instead

I had customers who paid their invoices into personal account, how do I journal these payments into xero business account please so it alters the aged receivables report

Mistakenly I imported file with positive amounts rather than negative amount. How can this be corrected? Pls advise.

You need to go to the bank, choose bank statements, then bank statements (not statement lines) select the statement and delete. It’s easily done 😊
