Hi, I have a question - Ive never worked using the Bruker software and need to process Bruker dataset so I want to try to do it using Crysalis. Where do you get all the instrument parameters (detector distance, beamstop settings etc.) from? Is is described somewher in the Bruker files? I didn't see you doing that in this video.

Dear Dilip, There are two types of OLEX2. One is simply OLEX2 which can be added in CrysAlisPro via CMD window in CrysAlisPro but first you have to install it somewhere in your computer then give the path just by opening CrysAlisPro command window (CMD). Other is AutoChem (OLEX2), OLEX2 AC5 (current version) which works with another software Structure Explorer and it will be available as 'What is This' window in CrysAlisPro. AutoChem is helpful if you have the diffractometer, it will give you an idea even from first 10 minutes collected data whether the structure can be solved or not? But this is not freely available like OLEX2. It need a license (some code). You can get Autochem and Structure explorere from Rigaku website and request for the license.
