Great tutorial but I have one question. If I already have contacts on my Android phone, will this method overwrite my existing contacts with the new contacts from the excel sheet OR will the new contacts from the Excel sheet be added in with the old existing contacts so that I can have BOTH sets of contacts on my phone?

May be you have open csv file with notepad. Open csv file with excel
