This is sooooo cool! Music is supposed to be fun. Not everybody wants to be a concert pianist and spend years working on excruciatingly difficult pieces. Being able to perform a few flashy tricks such as this shred does not take away any of the hard work classically trained pianists have put in their craft. Thanks for this great video.

Beethoven's Sonata #14, (the 3rd movement - Presto Agitato), it's one of the craziest shredding songs there is. Also, Hungarian Rhapsody by Franz Liszt, it is very very technical and impressive.

Perfect instruction, thank you. Its actually quite easy, just takes some mastering to play fast. I like how you tell us all the chords, makes it easier to remember.

I'm confused when you say, "when your left hand hits the A begin the next one" the A is the first note of the 4. Please explain. Thanks
@Alice_Fumo7 жыл бұрын
my youtube search term was "sweep picking on a violin", however this is cool. I even spent the 10 minutes to get this down before typing this comment. However, I was pretty much doing this for my impressive sounding sections before. For even more impressive sounding one should play octaves and alternate between left and right hand to give more fat sound. yeaaaaaaah. :D

Definetely great, and appreciate the instruction. However, you failed to mention that on the second return down, you need to add the left-hand "A" (to the "A"min + "B") in concert with the right-hand "A". This caused a little confusion.

question: why not do both F dim 7 on both hands instead of E maj on right hand ?

sounds more exotic sounding to have 2 chords going on. They still share the third and fifth tho.

Do you use the peddles and if you do when do I?
@Alice_Fumo7 жыл бұрын
id recommend maybe using them inbetween the last chords, so the sound doesnt fall flat inbetween them (lift it quickly before pressing the next chord, though), otherwise you shouldnt really use them and just play cleanly.. or use them to cover up your imprecisions, but id recommend against that.

Question, is this from a song or did you write it? I've written a song that this fits absolutely perfectly in, but it's not mine, so I'd like the permission of the creator of it before I can use it. I totally understand if you don't want me to use it. Cheers!

Just because you're having trouble playing the song at full speed doesn't mean you have to dish on me showing people how to play a fun short little piece. I don't say this is hard, I don't say it's going to make you a concert virtuoso, just a cool sounding piece.
