I've heard this topic touched very briefly, but not clearly illustrated as what James does here. This encouraged me to set-up a four chart time frame on trading view for both day trade and swing trade using James time sequence. It's incredible how everything can line up on all charts and dictate the right trend for higher probability, as well as determine the entry point.

JRY. Big fan as I’ve recently stumbled across your channel and relate to the passion you talk about in your videos. Part of me wants to believe too good to be true. The other part wants me to believe that your channel is like gold prospecting. KZbin is the California mountains of the 40s and coming across your channel is a river in the mountains with gold. Only time will tell as I try to implement what you are teaching. Long story short. Thank you for sharing.

Very nice video James. I just wanted to ask you. Which trading software do you use to show the charts with multiple timeframes. I've noticed that when you choose a new stock it applies for all the timeframes at the same time. Is there an option for that in mt4? Would you be so kind to explain that to us in another video? Thanks for the content man. I appreciate it.

Just found your channel, watched this video, and I can already say that this might just be the best trading education video out here on KZbin. Your setup is something that suits me also and I was just waiting for something like this. I have just one question though, how would you know which stock is having these buy or sell setups getting ready for a trade given that there are thousands of stocks we have? It would be great if you just helped me out with that

where did you learn about this concept of multiple timeframe analysis? also sometimes i see on the daily chart the stock is not trending, it's just in a rectangular channel but a lot of the times there is no walls so what kind of directional bias should you form when you see that the stock is not in a trend on the larger timeframes if you want to scalp intraday
@jamesrichyoung
@jamesrichyoung 2 жыл бұрын
Hey lightofmylife, I focus mostly on stocks that are trending and have momentum. When I see a stock that's sideways and basing, I don't really do much with them except keep an eye on which direction it will break to.

QUESTION IS--If trader was trading forex pair to hold for average duration of 3-5 days what time frame should be used for TREND DIRECTION?--IS IT 4 H CHART USING HIGHER HIGH/LOWER LOW ONLY? Traders biggest enemy is trend flipping on A dime(e.g. 1H/lower times frame trend).Trend on 4H chart may be the best trend guide for majority of forex traders.. By the time trader confirms that trend on daily chart is up, market has already gone up about 5-7 days & if you ask supercomputer for the mathematical odds, computer tells you that odds are negative right from the start.Trend based on the last 10--15,four H candles has enough big players/juice/force behind it so that it would not flip on A dime, so trader has decent chance to make something without buying overpriced asset to lose again. Your wisdom please.?Thank you.
