I really like your perspective on drawing and the reasons why people often stop doing it when they grow up. I can relate to your experience a lot and I think your video might inspire many people to reconnect with the artist that lives in their souls ❣️✨ P. S. And you're very beautiful 🤭

I agree just DOING IT makes like 90% of the development but for me personally I also need to reflect on my drawings and analyze them to see my mistakes to make it better the next time, it's a fine line of not talking yourself down and staying motivated enough to make it better. But I think without reflection you will repeat your mistakes over and over again, at least for me.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Selina. I couldn’t agree more. It’s always important to reflect and think about ways for improvement and develop a sense of how well you are doing!

Thank you for this video. The struggle is real and there should always be a few minutes of your day just for yourself to do something you love.

It's pretty. You can improve it by studying light and shadow placement on a face.

Thank you for this video! 😊I would love to know what mechanical colored pencil you are using! 😍 I can't see it listed on your art supplies from amazon.

The pencil is Pentel GraphGear 1000 and the lead is uni dia nano - they have various colours 💙 it can actually be any mechanical pencil, it’s the lead that’s special. It’s very soft though so you can’t apply too much pressure while drawing or writing with it.

@@duos_art Thank you so much! 💙Do you recommend using 0.5 or 0.7 leads? I can imagine the thicker the lead the less likely that it will break - but 0.5 would be better for details. 🤔
