#Filo tutoring is one of a kind learning experience for students. The quality of teaching on Filo is the direct impact of the hard work put in by Filo tutors.
In order to help such tutors improve on their teaching output, we have designed a framework that helps a tutor understand different aspects of their presentation and communication to a student.
How does it work?
Filo has researched hundreds of students to understand what impacts their learning experience the most. After compiling that research we have created a system that has 15 different parameters on presentation and 15 parameters on communication.
Every parameter is evaluated on the scale of Poor, Satisfactory and Good. The meaning of these terms is self-explanatory.
For every tutor, a team of quality experts reviews recordings of multiple sessions of a tutor and evaluates them on these 30 parameters. Our systems compile that session-level feedback into a single review report.
How to read the report?
On the top level, you get to see the ‘Overall-status’ which is the cumulative effect of contribution from individual parameters.
You should ensure that your overall-status is always above ‘Satisfactory’
‘Performance breakdown’ shows the overall sum of parameter wise performance.
‘Areas of Improvement’ section shows the list of parameters that are driving your overall-performance down.
Detailed report shows the entire list of parameters on which you must work.
