Simple job but expensive parts changing all three filters. Summing up in about $100. But the Nilfisk runs better than ever.

What a great channel! Thanks! It made me check my vac. It had hardly any suction. I've had a NIlfisk King 505 for at least 12 years and it has had a LOT of use. Its always been great. I've always replaced filters regularly but knew NOTHING about the filter under the motor. However, when I opened the vac bag compartment, the bag had come off completely and the cleaner had suddenly become a "bagless" unit LOL! So, new bag and filters and all good. As I've obviously never checked the filter unit under the motor It looks very clogged. I've checked your website and found you sell the units but do I need to buy a whole unit, or can I take it apart and clean and replace stuff? Can't believe I'm discussing vacuum cleaners on KZbin! Damm old age! Thanks again!

8-21-16 You helped me with the left hand right hand thing, thank you. I thought somebody glued it on. When your not a millionaire like me you know that we would take the 2 filters to the shop and blow them out with compressed air, and yes the bag needed replacement. But, you can't go on tell your customers that they're blowing motor dust in the vacuum, that only keeps your surrounding air cleaner! Your, motor dust will still circulate inside of the housing. I know you have to make a buck. Blow 'em out for her this time and tell her she should replace them next time. She will have a new friend, and someone she trusts at your store ....Thanks.

You put it new filters without first cleaning out all that muck in the machine ? Disappointing.
