I am living in Canada. I am worried about teaching my son our mother tongue as he is learning English on his own (from day care and screen time, I guess)and I see in the comments mothers in India are worried about English. We have to try extra hard to teach him our mother tongue. World of mothers 🙄. Always worried about child, no matter what 😉

Hi,pankti.i wd like to help you with my answer.plz speak the language which you want to teach your kid at home not only with but other family members , physically or over the phone Always ask to help you with things in the language you want to teach . like if it is hindi instead of water say pani etc .Also play songs n rhymes in the choice of language.Your kid must b seeing his favourite catoon so you may also use that as they the cartoon also come in vernacular.you may use amart phobe smartly .tell him stories in prefered language.you may visit my channel mommylogy with Renu.thanks n regards.
