The best advice I can personally give to people about realism is tools, your own personal style, and patience. I found there are many ways to draw certain realistic parts of the body. Not just by using a pencil. I went from Pencil to ink and now I use utilize charcoal and brushes. But finding my way may not be yours. Try looking for who you are. Which takes me to the last bit of advice. Understand your art may not match what you are trying to draw exactly. It's not always an imperfection. It's where you are and the only reason it may bother you is because you're trying to match someone else. If you focus on yourself and build from there you will help build on your skill. This could be difficult to understand. So for example, I started with eyes, then hair. Rather than just copy what I see I try finding the shadows myself putting my own spin to it. After I did this I found different techniques. Now I can see something and draw it and because I found so many ways of doing something like hair it just naturally comes out. I will admit I have always been able to draw, but only recently did I turn to realism. It's completely different from what i'm use to. Which is why i'm watching this video learning from different artist about skin. Somewhere between all of these artist I will find my way of doing it.

This is the first time I had ever actually got to correctly Draw Something In hyperrealism I just made it simple divided my paper up and 8 in each quarter there was a different section such as eyes we're going one knows we're going another and it was simple I just focus on what's in the Square so when I did the nose which I struggle with you showed me how to find the nose not to draw. So thank you for teaching me probably the hardest skill I could ever learn!

@silviemahdal_art4 жыл бұрын
Dear Firasah, I believe you can learn to draw realism. This is not a style, but yes, there is always little something recognizable in someone's work. I think it is great we do not draw exactly the same results even when we try to😊

@@silviemahdal_art And yes mam one more thing, I always try to follow your realistic lips and nose drawing tutorials. It really improved my lip drawing but not my nose drawing, whenever I see and try to copy your tutorial my nose sketches come absolutely great but when I add them in portraits my nose looks soooooooo bad. Can you suggest some tips for me?
@charlesbell55004 жыл бұрын
@@firasahnaz329 Everyone has features they can do really well and ones they can do poorly, when it comes to portraits. I think your problem might be the placement of the nose in relation to the other features of the face. The nose should be as wide as the corners of the eyes, generally. Sometimes a bit wider. But as you get better as an artist, your noses will get better, they might just always be a bit worse than your best feature, like lips, or if your eyes are your best feature.

Fan of your channel, awesome work and tutorials, been watching your videos and finally started paying attention and stopped being so heavy handed, you put out great info and techniques. I think majority of us look and become mesmerized by the awesome drawings that we don't pay attention to the how of what your doing, but I can finally say that my artwork is finally improving by using your techniques Yay! The trick for me is actually looking at how little pressure you use on every stroke, it makes a BIG difference, lol I think most artists on here would improve if they followed your guidance instead of seeing the artwork and being blown away. Anyway just wanted to let you know you have a fan who finally 'sees' and now making progress instead of looking and trying to emulate your art but using a heavy hand and ending with results going to trash Lol Your awesome, thanks for your guidance, glad I can finally see your techniques instead of focusing so much on how beautiful every piece of yours looks. But, still blown away by your finished pieces Sorry for the paragraph, lol
