I had been going to Japan College of Foreign Language since last two years and today I graduated from there. Unfortunately I couldn’t meet the teacher like you that you’re really, completely, truly teaching us what I want to hear from my teachers in JCFL. You’re the best teacher I’ve ever met, seriously. I’ve tried to practice what I thought about English learning. But yeah it didn’t helps me a lot. And now it’s time to practice English with your advice. I’m glad I found you on KZbin. Give me a thumbs up or send me a message if you read my comment. Thank you.

Especially, as I am in the condition that there are no native speakers around me at all, the suggestions to read a lot, listen to english contents, make my circumstances filled with english contents and talk to myself. Actually, I have tried to those thing by myself, which is meaningful to me as I am following a right way. I got a motivation to keep it myself without hesitation from you Thank you so much.

another great lesson Paul! I think thinking in a new language requires at least a few years. You can recognise it when trying to express yourself in your native language, looking for the right word.

I see you have such a passion for English, for teaching! I am a 28-year-old teacher in Brazil, and I really appreciate listening to you speaking! I am inspired by you. When I started teaching I was quite young- I was around 17 years old and I am blissfully happy in this field :)

Thanks for responding, Paul! Your accent is great but it would be underestimation of your true merits focusing on it. You are a great teacher and a good person judging by some videos of yours I have watched so far. My best regards to you!

Rpg Games are all about interpret texts to understand the history. It´s totally diferent from first person shooters like Counter Strike. But if I could recommend a game it would be Metal Gear series. Amazing storyline, full of diferent expressions.

Thank you so much for all these precious tips you gave to us , I think reading is most important way to learn English besides practice as well , For me I would prefer reading a lot because i learn new vocabularies that i can use to communicate the others who interested in English , also practice is very significant because it makes the learner acquire the art of communication very rapidly as he can become very fluent in brief time according to the period of time of practice that he spends with the others who speaking English , I'm so grateful to you again and do not forget to upload more fresh video lessons of English because they are helpful and useful as well ,,

I just can't, I don't know why but I just can't! I'll do the FCE test on thid Sunday and I'm really afraid about what can be happen. I only want some advice of you. Thanks in advance =)

Good evening, Sir! Thank you for your splendid videos! I was wondering when subtitles might be suitable. I mean, what to do if a sentence played for a hundred of times remains unclear. Thank you.
@PracticeEnglishwithPaul8 жыл бұрын
Елена Чернышова Then like if you don't know a question in a test... move on and leave it. Above intermediate level subtitles should not really be used. If in my videos there is something unclear, tell me the time and i will transcribe it.
@user-ot7md7hh2e8 жыл бұрын
Practice English with Paul No, it's while watching films or tv-shows. Your videos are absolutely clear! Thank you very much!
@PracticeEnglishwithPaul8 жыл бұрын
Елена Чернышова ahhh i see what you mean. Yes, then in this case, if you really can't catch that word, switch subtitles on since it would be the only way of knowing. But nevertheless be careful because at times what you read isn't always what is being said.

Hi, Paul! I enjoy your lessons very much and I think I would like to have private lessons by Skype with you once a week for example;). Is it possible? How can I connect with you and could you give me some information how to implement my wish? Thanks a lot! Olga.

Hi Paul! Listening to this video, i found that you tell both "speak English" and "speak in English". The latter was seldom but nevertheless. Being far from the idea you could make a mere mistake :), i used google and revealed that "to speak in English" is used when you i) mean "communicate" rather than simple "to say smth, to know the language", and ii) have a choice which language to speak, say, English or Japan. Thus, i can say "speak in" talking over the language we are going to converse during an interview/meeting/seminar/workshop meaning that people have a real choice, understand and speak two or more languages: - Dear colleagues, let's decide which language we'll speak during a meeting: we can speak in English or in German, it's up to you. Does it work this way?
@PracticeEnglishwithPaul7 жыл бұрын
Alexey Tishchenko my friend, you are spot on. And your English in your description is damn good!)

Well, about my English, i'm not afraid that you are too kind to me - i just know it. :) Thank you, however, it's also a kind of motivation. :)

Alexey Tishchenko i wrote a post recently on vk: you know you've been teaching in Russia when.. And one of the funny examples was: even a student who got an A ar CPE will say their English is rubbish))) you're doing a good job mate))
