Just want to thank you for calling us "Home Artists" instead of grouping all home tattoists together as "scratchers" or simply talknig derogatorily about the idea of tattooing from a home studio. I really like your videos, lil bro. You lay down tons of info that we old dogs know, and wish a lot of young guns would get through their thick skulls. It does my heart proud to see you kids doing shit right. In my day, an apprenticeship was a trial of insanity and outlaw mentality. I am so glad to see a mainstream acceptance of my favorite art form. I've been doing tatts for more than 20 years, and I have learned some great things from your videos. Common sense, but in my day, apprenticeship (at least mine) was pretty fucking brutal. Clean, good work meant not getting busted. It meant happy clients. It meant not getting shot. The people that were getting tattoos when I got into it were a bit more rough around the edges than folks I see in the parlor these days. Just want to thank you for your work, and let you know that I'm thinking of buying one of your machines. You seem to know what you are talking about, and it is cool to hear your generation talking about this shit all on the straight. watercolor painting. yeah. fucking watercolors. I have not touched a water color paint set since I was released from my bondage. ugh. might grab some watercolor paper and paints and re-live the dream. The colors we have today are so much better to work with than the (often home made) pigments we were running in the day. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. You make a difference, bro.

I have to say you are amazing helping people instead of bashing them. Alot of people do not have help and have a passion. Thank you for the videos!!

Thanks again Johnny!! I have been doing a lot of colour blending lately, and this just certified what I have learned... proper ink is a huge help, and having a good chunk of the set is very helpful! I have been using radiant inks, and really enjoy them, as I was originally a Mom's guy... those fusions are pretty sweet as well though!
