Fantastic lesson but on top of that I’m continuously impressed with this Tele Ultra. It comes accords as a very flexible instrument and in jazz context it really delivers :)

Hello Dr Josh, thanks so much for sharing this lesson! I notice that you wear a brace around your wrist. Ive been struggling with wrist pain from playing guitar a lot and never found anthing to help it. Did you by any chance experience something similar? Is this brace something, that could help with that? Kind Regards, Paulus

I had carpal tunnel syndrome at the time and it helped quite a bit but ultimately I had surgery which cured the problem.

Where did you learn all of your theory?
@DrJoshGuitar3 жыл бұрын
I picked it up various places. When I started playing 35 years ago I had guitar lessons, and learned about modes and the harmonized major scale. In the last few years getting into jazz I’ve been learning stuff off KZbin like from Jens Larsen, but I learned the most from Barry Greene’s website which I subscribed to for one year. That’s where I learned a lot of chord scale stuff. I highly recommend his site.
