At very long last! Somebody has taught me counterpoint, and not merely about it. Thanks a bundle.

What a timely video. I just started first species counterpoint, and have started changing my five finger warmup exercises by playing thirds and sixths and tenths. This video will keep me occupied for the next 6 months. Merci.

I have heard of counterpoint on the college level and it is so deep and confusing. Thank you for your videos where you speak so clearly and break things down for us yearning to learn.

Years ago read a text on harmony. Everything made sense. Then looked at counterpoint. But poor explanation. Your video is unbelievably clear. You made my Saturday.

BEAUTIFUL. Thanks a lot for this! Why don't I find such things anywhere else? I guess this will keep me occupied for some weeks.

I used to do this as a child on the school piano, my teacher told me I was 'noodling' but I had no idea what that meant, I just knew it sounded nice if I left a gap between the white keys when I pressed them.

You were very selective about what not to teach in this lesson, and it resulted in something magical
