To be honest, SBI is quite laidback with credit limit increase. Rarely they reach out for limit increase, usually it better to request for limit increase via the tool. In last two years Axis has given me three limit increase and upgrade, where for SBI I had to reach out for the limit increase.

10 din se request bhej raha tha. Finally aaj close kar diya. Government empl, 776 CIBIL. Hamesha bill generate hone se pahle bill payment kiya. Fir bhi koyi kadar nahi. 25000 limit di thi. 5 bade banks me 1lakh se upar limit hai. Aaj hi axis ne 120000 limit di. Sbi ka 14 din ka procedure hai tb jakar ye koyi dicision le pate hai.

Basically SBI want to increase their customer base but don't encourage them to spend. Also, with the sucess of cash back card, it's getting costly for the bank to offer 5% cashback on all online spends. Hence, they are offering less limit.

I don't know about others, but axis provides me the best limit, it increases every year. It started from 15k to 60k to 1L15k currently. Just they've increased the limit a day before. All thanks to them. I hold other cards too, like SBI, HDFC, RBL, etc. Those are newly issued cards, let's see if they also increase their credit issued amount in a year.

Every time I send the email to SBI to increase credit limit but attaching my income documents, they will simply give an automated reply that you’re not eligible 🤦‍♂️…it’s been more than 2 years that I have been using SBI card but ni limit enhancement yet 😢

Just send them card closure request, tell them you have better option than this card and possibly they make your card ltf and limit increase as well.

Mera 2sal hogaya 10k limit hain sala inta 30%use kar raha hu firvi nehi deraha hain increase offer

6 sal lage badhane me limit and SBI ne ek bar me limit 50-/80 % cut kardi various card me and now there is no option to increase, However any number of salary document provided on portal or email it always rejected.
