How to Increase Tile Life? How to Maintain Tile Life? Tile Life

People complain about short tile life. In this video, I will explain how to increase tile life and how to maintain tile life.
There are numbers of things you need to consider while tile work process. Tile work process consists of 3 stages:
1. Tile Purchase Stage
2. Tile Installation Stage
3. Tile Use Stage
On every stage, If you take care of these recommendations during these stages, you will have tile life more than 30 years.
On first stage, what I call it tile purchase stage, first thing to consider is hiring a good and expert mason.
Second thing to consider is always buy A grade tile.
Third thing to consider is always check tile before installation.
On second stage, what I call it tile installation stage, first thing to consider is always use tile bond adhesive instead of cement mixture.
Second thing to consider is always use good quality tile bond.
Third thing to consider is always use tile spacers between tile joints.
Forth thing to consider is always use good quality grout
Fifth thing to consider is make sure surface is clean and in proper level.
On third stage, what I call it tile use stage, first thing to consider is keep tile area clean every time.
Second thing to consider is never allow heavy items on tile area. if heavy items fell down, your tile can be broke.
Always have some backup tiles for emergency use.

It depends on washroom size. If washroom is small then go with small size tiles like 10x16 inches or 10x20 inches and if washroom is big then go with large tiles like 12x24 inches and above

It is bit difficult to know the packing of the tile if you only know tile size because different companies have different packing. for example Times Ceramics 10x20 size tile packing is 1.5 sqm and 12 tiles but Forte Ceramics 10x20 size tile packing is 1.53 sqm and 12 tiles. If you check tile box carefully, there are all information printed on it. No of pieces and total quantity.
