Hi Kirsty, those nails are absolutely gorgeous and you shouldn't have to destroy them. If it was me I'd take the nail off to keep my design. Who caress if the customer screams in pain lol. ❤

Okay I had to stop the video to ask this lol, but, isn't your top coat acetone resistant??? If it is then this worked for me when I had a nail I wanted to save. If the top coat isn't acetone resistant, you should make one. So, I put on an extra two layers of top coat before getting to work. Once I did then I created a little divot in the natural nail underneath with a little blunt tip needle. Then i dripped acetone into the divot with a syringe until it started to separate. Once it did I just used the sharper end of the cuticle pusher and lifted the nail off very slowly, little by little. I have super thin natural nails and I did not want to damage my nail bed at all. It did take awhile, like half an hour, but it was worth it. And I guess if you're doing work on someone else then you could work on one hand while it the other you're removing on the other. IDK I'll continue video now. 😆

I have friends that work in the food industry as servers and such and because they was their hands so much their finger nails start to lift quickly… next time I would try to see if you could try to soften the nail bed as you go by washing hands or even soaking in water here and there just to start lifting it up off the back… just a thought.

So sad to see this great art work get destroyed. Only if you could have used a peel off base just before first coat of color and not to close to the edges of nail . It works well with gel polish . Just a little of filing around and then pop off .

Yes my son wears steel toed boots and he has some major calluses on the side and bottom of his foot where the ball of his foot is and I keep telling him that he needs to let me get them down and start working on getting them all off and he absolutely is having none of it.....
