in ur previous guide you used tap strafing instead. What method do you use more often and any pros and cons to any of the two?
@Treeree2 жыл бұрын
@@turtlesandals797 I use both at the same time for the most part. Tap strafing slightly removes the need to hold w on the wall for a prolonged period of time, so depending on the situation you kind of get a feel for it

Bro thank you so much for this. I finally get it. This is the tutorial we needed. I could not understand in your videos how you were doing the backwards wall jumps without tap strafing and I kept trying to figure out. I just did not even realize you were doing a backwards wall run first to get those. Now it all makes sense. I appreciate it man.

By the way, I can tap-strafe, and I can super-glide. But I can't seem to combine the both of them (abruptly changing direction right after starting a super-glide). So if you feel like making a tutorial for that... ;)

Another thing that could be really useful is to breakdown Ur zipline techs. For example I find it really hard to do your same level zipline bounce (I think it's just onto zipline plus crouch and a 180?)

@Rain12 жыл бұрын
Wait, in that very last clip you were moving insanely fast. It was almost like you got Super Glide speeds through the air off of a wall bounce. Also, I was very surprised that the Pathfinder grapple kept the speed up afterwards even though you did a ground hop jump grapple thing. Wat... please teach us master movement
@Not____Applicable2 жыл бұрын
It looks like you are using the momentum of the sliding door for your wall bounce to get that extra distance to the enemy. But, a video from you with more detail would be awesome, thank you for this one
@watotodile2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely necessary tutorial that will be amazing for everyone, if they ever truly remove Tapstrafing
@hotpenguin607 Жыл бұрын
I followed the guide to train for many hours My biggest challenges were to not press A or D too early, and to press a-w-d/d-w-a instead of a->d or d->a to not kill my momentum The common mistakes mentioned in the video also got my ass covered, thank you

180 tapstrafe wallbounce off closing door (which gives extra speed iirc?), then the quick grapple thing (grap then space right after) and tapstrafe, probably?
@Br4trM4r102 жыл бұрын
While turning corners in the end, you have to input the lurch in the former direction of movement because the engine wouldn't let you change the direction so abruptly without it?
@Treeree2 жыл бұрын
It’s just that if you hold the input down, you’re not getting a a lurch. Repressing it gives you a lurch, so alters your trajectory
