See... ur making a radio button and selecting the radio button.. right ?.. so.. in ur radio button... ur storing a value.. ok ..?.. so.. what value u store it.. it depends on u.. for example.. ur store alphabet only (VARCHAR) .. storing number (int or number)''.. So.. u hv to giv the datatype name.. according to ur requirement.. like.. ur storing gender value.. male or female.. its a alphabetic.. so.. u can keep it..VARCHAR.. I hope.. I hv cleared ur doubt..
