Thanks for the tips! One thing I’ve noticed about rings and corkscrew or L type nose jewelry is the amount of snot they collect. Lol. Maybe it’s just me. I like bone types best for that reason, but I like how a ring looks.

@@kkane8809 yep, I’ve had rings I had to put warm compress on to clean snots. You learn not to turn them with dried snot, ouch! I can’t keep an L turned up in my nose. It always turns down and hangs out my nose. Not a good look.

For the clicker nose ring, does it matter if you put it in from the outside of your nose or the inside?

yooo how did that happen??
@PaleePrincessXO4 жыл бұрын
@@blackheartscars it grew up between and around the ends. It stayed in for three years until last year, but thankfully my piercer could get it out without a need for surgery lol. I just let it heal back up completely and repierced it.

When I got my nose pierced, the piercer used a cork screw jewelry. The end of my nose was numb like after the piercing was done and I was told that it was from the swelling more than likely. It’s been about two months and it is still a little bit numb. Is this normal? If not, what should I do??
@katrinamarshall23753 жыл бұрын
Try a L shape and see if that helps
@dcclxxvii57033 жыл бұрын
What does it matter if a little piece of your nose is numb? But it’s most probably not permanent either way , from experience of having numb spots after trauma most has its feeling back at least to 90% sensitivity. The ones that I’m talking about (that were once fully numb but have repaired themselves) slowly got feeling back anywhere from two months up to one year. The ones that are still numb never improved any at all so sox months down the line I’m guessing it’s all back normal?

What if you pulled your nose bar out 9 days post piercing and have had issues since with jewlery staying in? Do you still have to wait 2 to 3 months? I went back to my piercer and got another L bar put in after a couple weeks of having my nose bones falling out when I would clean. Due to all this I now have a keloid:( Well I ended up pulling this L bar out too in my sleep. Well it was actually upon awakening both times, it was crazy as I awoke startled and pulled my stud right out. I ordered a screw on and tried to put it in earlier and it was too big. I have a fat nostril and am having a hard time but this screw on was just too big.

I've pulled mines out several times during the healing process. I hope it's healed enough now. I don't feel any pain unless I yank it again or try to replace the L bar with a hoop. Trying not to give up here lol I want a hoop so bad

Does your nose ring smell sometimes?? Like your ears does.
@cosmiccandy87044 жыл бұрын
Not in my experience. Only my septum piercing smelled but that was when I started stretching it (I have a stainless steel tunnel). I believe it was because I made the skin raw. Once jewellery loosened a little a few days after the stretch, cleaning the jewellery and the piercing hole with saline worked a charm to get rid of the odour.

Not particularly useful. He only talks about how to open a ring-he doesn't actually show you how to find the hole inside your nose, when you have a ring that needs to start inside!
@GreenIce1013 жыл бұрын
It’s pretty straightforward, at least for me it was. You can either kinda feel around with the jewelry in there and try and find it that way, or get your finger up in there and find it and then you should have some kind of idea. You could possibly use a mirror (depending on where the piercing is) or have a friend help you. My ex helped me switch out my septum and she sat on my chest with my head laid flat and a flashlight shining up my nose and had no trouble at all switching it out. If it’s a bit cramped, you might be able to use tweezers to hold the jewelry and insert it that way 🤷♂️
