With a “correct cannula” I assume you mean a bigger one in this particular case. Why would you ram a bigger one if you can achieve the needed flow with a smaller cannula? At the end of the day it is a foreign object inside your arm/hand etc. implantation of which is potentially painful for the patient. I could’ve put a grey one in the vein in the video, maybe even an orange one - what good would it do if I don’t need it?

So many Branches is there in this canulated vein so we can't put canula. swelling will occur after that and it will damage the vein also.

Yes. But only for 2 seconds if the person doing the procedure is expert.

Yes it does but for a short time during insertion, and I had a cannula in my hand for 2 weeks and sometimes during sleep I'd feel a sharp pain or tingle but others might not feel that.

As soon as the needle tip goes in the vein, an upward pressure is applied to keep the needle tip in the lumen, so that it does not touch the opposite wall of vein. Otherwise, if opposite wall is punctured, blood will start flowing from vein into the surrounding tissue and a swelling will occur at the site of puncture. It is called a double-prick and it means IV cannulation is failed. Then, you have to repeat the process on some new vein. Double-prick is common for beginners and rare for experts.
