Step 1: Open Word 2013/2016/2019
Step 2: Select a document template of your choice.
Step 3: Once your document has opened up, click on the 'insert' Tab.
Step 4: click on the label named as 'Object' (In the right hand extreme corner)
Step 5: Once the 'object' dailog box opens up, click on create from file and browse to the location of your PDF document.
Step 6: Choose either of the 'Link to file' or 'Display as icon' option and click on OK.
Step 7: Resize and play around with your PDF file.
Note: Ensure that you have Adobe acrobat reader preinstalled in your device to make sure that this method works hassle free.

Hey, thanks for the tutorial, I was wondering if there's a way to insert the entire PDF into word, and I have a very large PDF document of around 50 pages that I would like to insert into word. Hey there, Thanks for reaching out!! However, I regret to disappoint you as there are no ways to insert the entire pdf in word as it is. (As of now) Word doesn't allow you to do that. But if you are really just keen on displaying the content of your pdf in word, you could:- 1) Convert the the entire pdf into a word document using online converters. 2) convert the pdf pages to an image and add them in your document. Both of these workarounds will have their limitations/ technical difficulties depending on your requirements.

I finally opted to convert them to images and add them to the manual as that was the best case for my scenario (Shop Drawings) as converting them was quite a mess.

Today you made a mark my man. Good Job 👏👏 A quick suggestion: you might want to work on your video's volume level. On my primary phone your voiceover sounded loud n clear. But as soon as I switched to my secondary phone the volume was little low (still audible though). I don't know if it's just my having this issue but do check it out

Hi there! Sincere apologies for the late reply. Have you tried checking under the 'Create from File' Tab. Both 'Link to File' and 'Display as Icon' options should be available on the bottom right hand corner of the 'Create From File' Tab.

@@nawsheenkamal Hi Nawsheen ! Unfortunately I even contacted with Adobe to solve this. They said that pdf technology doesn't support this feature. I converted my pdf files to images, than inserted on my word document for finding an alternative way. it is not same but you can give a try.

I want to know how to embed the file not link to it. I must distribute the word doc to others so they too can read the PDFs EMBEDDED. that used to be an option what happened to that option? THe PDF lives on MY workstation and others will not hve access to a LINK it seems no matter what I choose it now LINKS and does not embed the file. Microsoft moving backward again. I have done then hundreds of times but cannot any longer

Hey there, Unfortunately, that is one of the drawbacks of inserting PDF file to word document as mentioned in the video. If you have multiple pages in your pdf file, only the first page will be displayed and the rest will be truncated when shared via mail or by other means. However, you do have a workaround for this problem. Just drag and drop your pdf file into word. Hey there, I hope you are doing good. Unfortunately, Word only allows us to 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐝𝐟 or 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧. By linking to the pdf, you are able to see a preview of the very first page of your document within word. The remaining pages of your pdf document can be viewed by clicking on the preview.

Mine only copies the dang FILE on the Word page. It doesn’t put the TEXT in the PDF on the page. Of COURSE it’s always ME with these tech issues. Hate my life.NOTHING is working. I may as well re-type my entire resume in the time ive spent trying to find someone to help me convert this dang PDF into Word. I could spit nails and cry!!!!
