HOW TO: INSTALL 4 POINT DOCKING HARDWARE system on a Harley! Advanblack Tour Pack

One major thing. On your black plastic mounting post, there are dash marks on them. Those are indexing marks to fit the tour pack or backrest. The black post are not perfectly round, they are oblong. So if you mount the tour pack or backrest and the locking brackets don't rotate all the way and lock in, you will need to loosen the screw on the black mounting post and turn it and then retry mounting the tour pack or back rest. When you find the position that the tour pack or back rest locks in smoothly, leave it on, take the screw all the way out, put some blue locktite on it and put it back on. Then repeat on the other side.

They make magnetic covers for the docking points for when the tour pack is off. Cleans the back end up well.

Advanblack is not top-of-the-line quality… Harley Davidson is… And buy a large margin… Also, you can order your tour packs to the color of your bike through Harley Davidson… I wouldn’t own anything by advanblack, but that’s my opinion about their products… Cheap versus high quality… Your choice… people only buy this or use it because they get it for free or they’re trying to save money… Nothing is higher quality than a Harley Davidson tourpak… and also I’ve noticed that the mounting bracket from advanblack is satin finish and not gloss black… Another reason the quality isn’t there… Thank you for listening

No..Advanblack is horrible. The milspec isn't close to o.e.. My lid snapped @ the latch. Then the lowers took a crap. Save & buy o.e.

TCMT half the price same tour pack Advanblack gets them from China same people that supply TCMT same tour pack for half the price and the mounting bracket is $40 at TCMT … Deleting my comment only makes the statement that you are in cohoots with Advanblack so they probably gave you everything for ZERO - shame on you 😮
