I have bought a 48 V 20 amp hour battery from Audi express my bike runs on a 36 V system. It shows it on KZbin that it could be that it accepts a 48 V battery mines works for good for an hour the new battery and then it just shuts off when I would put a charger in unplug the charger for five seconds And power will be fully back on again so I don’t know what the situation is. I don’t know how to test this new battery so all I got is my old battery the new battery I don’t know what’s wrong with it. I don’t know if there’s something wrong with it. I don’t know how I can fix it. I don’t know nothing I just got this new battery that I need help with Anna. Yeah if there’s any advice, I don’t know if you can thank you.

Just put the normally open thermal switch in parallel with the on/off switch instead of cutting it off, this way it will still switch off if the battery gets too hot and you can still use the on/off switch.

Isn't it better to run the ground somewhere else than over the cell monitoring cables to avoid shorts if the fragile silicone shielding fatigues? E.g. have it run around the other side of the battery?

why 36v uses 10S bms instead of 9S? this seams to be the common practice but no explanation!

It's based on discharged voltage. 3.6 * 10 = 36v, 3.6 * 9 =/= 36

Hi, I have a ebike with a 500 watt motor. The BMS went bad. Cells look good individually and producing 54v altogether. Bought replacement 13s BMS but the old one has no C- but new one does. Seems all new ones include C- so what to do in this situation? Is negative charge/discharge through P- ok? Or do you have BMS you recommend? Thanks

C- most be connected to charging minus only. discharge to P-.

Ann power on Aliexpress has exact same bms as he was using, but it has built in switch. I.ve been using theirs for over 2 years, built a lot of batteries with them and im very pleased with the quality.
