video doesn't do vipers justice! In real life they sound way better with that after market exhaust. I have the mopar race exhaust and it sounds like a screaming monster when you smash the gas. Awesome video!

+Venom 1 I'd have to agree with you. You really don't get the deep bass of how low the exhaust note is in this video. I love the sound now!

Boy, i know ALL about that exhaust clamp.. That sucker was BEAST getting off the exhaust....Thank God for WD40!! ....and a TON of strength

Where else is a safe place to jack up the Viper or use Jack stands other than the triangular jacking points?
@tommyjeanstrue4 жыл бұрын
There is a spot on the frame in the rear where I have seen guys lift the car up, next to the rear axle. I only use the jack points though

@@tommyjeanstrue Thank you. Any pics showing where this is?
Between Belanger, Corsa or Borla, what's the recommendation?
@tommyjeanstrue3 жыл бұрын
Corsa sounds the best in my opinion followed by the belanger, borla is the best priced however and still sounds pretty good

I have Belanger on my 05 Viper SRT10

I just put Belanger headers with their high flow cats and exhaust system on. Still not near as loud as I wanted it, and from what I read online, the Belanger is suppose to be the loudest... Your start up in the garage with open headers didnt even sound that loud.. was it in person?
@tommyjeanstrue7 жыл бұрын
+Jesse Langel Yeah. My girlfriend recorded from our garage door. I agree still wasn't that loud, granted I still have stock cats and exhaust manifolds. I think my v8 Camaro is louder than the Viper with my magnaflow exhaust... Go figure.

how did the heat wrap hold up? and does it make a difference in the cabin?
@tommyjeanstrue6 жыл бұрын
I haven't checked since I installed the cat back. I do plan on pulling the seal soon though to re tighten the bolts. My driver side pipe moves ever so slightly. I will check to see their condition then. I felt a huge difference in the cabin. Especially when riding top down. It used to sauna up before. Now it's fairly comfortable.

Good Video. Nice looking Viper but I hate seeing people working in Garages with those type of shoes. I call them Shit shoes. They belong at the beach, not working on a Car. Just saying.
@tommyjeanstrue7 жыл бұрын
+Garry Fuller Sr that's fair. I have a friend that is a professional mechanic and yells at me all the time for wearing flip flops while working on things. It is a bad habit for sure.

WTF? That's a Dodge Viper, not an SRT10, which is the Dodge Ram truck with a Viper V10 engine in it
@tommyjeanstrue6 жыл бұрын
SRT-10 is the engine designation, same as SRT-8 or SRT-4. That's why you can see a 300c, charger, Challenger or Jeep Cherokee say SRT-8 or a neon and a calliber have SRT-4. So you are correct the Ram with SRT-10 on it has the same engine as my SRT-10 Viper. :)
