Tip for the install so you don’t have to deal with what I dealt with. Tip 1 some cars have different wiring routes on the oem steering wheel. So don’t use anything sharp to move the springs for the airbag. You could scratch and damage some wires (like I did, luckily some electrical tape did the job). Tip 2, make sure the heated steering cable has a lot of length, otherwise you will not reach the connector and have to uninstall everything. Tip 3 it will take much longer than you think 😂

Thanks for the heads up on the short wire for a heated steering. Even after trying very hard, the connector still fell short by 2-3 inches. Also, the last connector was not releasing so I had to use a pin to help release it.

Idk what I’m doing wrong but I can’t seem to find the tabs on the backside of the steering wheel to realest the airbag. Help lmao

I got the same problem, but i found them the issue is that i push those tabs and the airbag dosn't released, do u found a solution?

Does this wheel have the heated function? A lot of others do not have it including the GT 350/R one

Did the airbag light come on after replacing the steering wheel? Mine came on and I'm still trying to figure out how to reset it.

Did you mix up the cables that ho to the airbag?

@@jmoo876 there color coded and Will only Go On One Way, it's impossible to mix the wires up on the airbag

@CAcaAxel123 Yes, I actually figured it out. The issue was one of the orange tabs wasn't pressed down ask the way even though it appeared to be. I found this by retracing my steps and starting over making sure all connections are done.

I got it off, you have to stick something pointy on the top side little hole , and push out at the same time , I used a small flathead to push in the tab

Does anyone know if the heated steering wheel will work on my mustang that doesn't have heating? I'm not asking if the heating will work. I'm just seeing if I can buy the heated one and still install it just as if it was the non heated one...if that makes any sense... Why I ask, the heated one is on sale right now.

The heated steering wheel works fine. Just cut the wires off.

How do u know if you’re tightening it to 44 or 35 inch lbs
