The night vision is in color, meaning it's not infrared. It's just a camera with the ISO tuned very high. So it has a very grainy picture making details very hard to see.

Sort of kind of the video I was looking for. I want to do the same thing for the exact same reason to keep from ripping my splitter on my lowered challenger. Is there any way I can install this camera or any camera onto the base factory unit? 7 inch uconnect. 2021 challenger RT. Thanks in advance.

I don’t think so. There aren’t any inputs in the factory radio

@Bandito 345 Thanks for the reply. How about I tap into the existing camera input on the factory uconnect with a momentary push button. (I'm assuming there's a wire back there somewhere labeled camera). The front camera and screen will only turn on when I hold the button as I approach a parking curb.
